[SOLVED] Just installed and have a question
« on: June 07, 2011, 03:07:00 AM »
Just installed the last iso of LXDE released by pclos and everything working on my laptop.

I updated to the latest kernel and I do not want to update to the latest x11/xorg updates to avoid problems with the touchpad.

As everything is now ok and I have the latest kernel, do I need to manually update anything else or is it ok if I  leave it as it is?

What would you recomend to also update manually?

Thank you

Thx for the reply Neal, but if I do that I will lose my touchpad tapping and scrolling functions.....

I think you misunderstood me. I did not say that you must update. I said you should either update fully or not update at all. That is, you have 2 choices - either update or do not update. But definitely do not do any partial updates.
