I chose custom partitioning but then selected a partition and tried to set the mount point to '/'.  Sorry to hear you have had the problem but glad it isn't just me.  ;)  I don't want to re-partition my hard drive right now, especially when there are issues with KDE anyway.

Hi macemm,She_Devil and others,
Still the same--updated 2010.12 to the -20 version of mylivecd but I still get a media failure on all systems.
I also get the message:--Undefined subroutine &fsedit::isLUKS called. when trying to install to hard drive, with the same disk.
So all together no change cannot create a working livecd booting/install system.

Yup, I'm getting the same error on trying to install from new ISO created.. Guess we will have to wait for a fix on this.. it's a drak problem here..  Can't install no matter which way I turn..

P.S.  Can the mods please join this thread with the other of the same topic... Link above... Thanks!!

I confirmed the same error on another post..

Strangely enough I have an ISO I created after fixing mylivecd script and before updating to new drak stuff that actually works..

I have just installed a 'failed media test' disk using 'custom install'. All went well.
rebooted into the system but grub could not fine the boot partition.
So not good. will try some more things, unless Tex releases a 2011 iso!!!???

I modified the grub boot partitions and now is all working fine with the failed media test disk.
It looks as though I goolied on the partitio set to boot on.
Sorry for that.
But using 'Custom' does work.

Hi  to all,
the new mylivecd 0.9.4.2 fron Jast solves all the problems.
Just created a boot disk with 0.9.4.2 and installation going ahead just fine.

There might be a problem with the grub bootloader just so you know.

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.

Hi Tex,
Nothing showing up about grub at this time.
The only little (very little) problem is why the Media check fails as even the fullMonty distro, yet all is fine and dandy.

Hi  to all,
We are having a lot of problems creating/booting livecd's on laptops.
In one case, at this moment we have to boot in 'failsafe' mode.
One is an ACER the other is an HP.
Is Tex yet prepared to release his testing version of 2011 into the wild for testing purposes?

gezza,

I haven't tried to remaster Full Monty, as I don't have it installed. However, I just updated to the mylivecd 0.9.4-3 version, along with drakx-tools, diskdrake and GRUB, and it's working for me. I did an e17 remaster, ran the media check, then installed it to a VirtualBox VM. Booted it up and have no errors on the live CD or on the installed version.

Thanks, Texstar!

Hi   to all,
I have jsst upgraded to mylivecd 0.9.4 and tried it on my laptop (which is more important to me than the desktops) but the created and burnt iso does not boot.
I get dropped to a shell. The iso will not boot on a desktop either.
Gezza.
ps.. The FullMonty is to big to create an iso from,I think.
