Here bud, you deserve them.. LOL.  I made a livecd from my first remaster this morning, and it booted just fine and dandy on my spare box..  Had to go to work before all the new apps were in the repos, so I will update again in the morning and remaster it one more time.. I've got a few CD's left to burn.

Thanks again!!

All updated packages are now on ibiblio.org. Testing and working in Virtualbox. I have not had a chance to test in a live environment as yet. Gotta get some CDS/DVDs.

Hi,

The remaster I did is 670 MB, I installed it to usb stick and booted on usb 1.1 in a IBM T30 laptop (how old !). It has been a bit slow to decompress, but not more than usual when I boot to USB on that machine. I have tried, used as live, installed, and I have now to reboot to finish install.

Thanks again,
Mélodie

Did an update this morning from ibiblio.org, still no go with Nvidia driver. But I'm beginning to suspect it's my card (PNY Geforce  GTX 550 Ti), if remastering is working for everyone, than it has to be my my Card. :'( I redid the Live-USB three times as well as the Live-DVD to no avail.

I haven't tested the new remaster on my test machine I'll do that now and see. I'll post an update after.

Update: It is my video card, I just tried both the Live DVD and USB and both worked like a charm on my test machine which has a 6600 Nvidia card, so it has to be my new card.
