LXDE and Bluetooth dongles: -Connection refused.
« on: June 01, 2011, 01:03:40 AM »
Good evening,

LXDE 2010 updated, on desktop and laptop.
Cambridge Silicon Radio usb dongles in both machines. (Hey, they were cheap!)
-These are listed in PCC>> as being in HCI Mode, Module HCI USB.

I have the complete list of app's from Forum research installed, and when booting, or hot-plugging, the dongles show the logo in the taskbar. Clicking on it raises the application window, and search shows the other machine to be recognised. They pair, they trust, they seem to getting on well. I try to Send A File. A Send window opens and after a second or two an Error window appears. Connection refused. I have checked permissions, swapped them about (I bought three of them. Hey, they were cheap!), tried all the available ways to initiate transfers. The only thing I haven't tried is to pair with a cellphone. We don't have one with Blueteeth.

Does anyone recognise these symptoms and have advice on a cure, please.

Thanks.

Additional to the above, when I click the folder icon in the Blueman app window (extreme right), I get an error message saying Nautilus isn't found. I have the native PCManFM. Is this significant?

Thanks.
