[solved] How do I disable touch pad in e17?
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:40:03 AM »
Hi

I have a geriatric Compaq notebook which has a touchpad. I prefer to use a mouse.
I am a hopeless typist and I often brush the touchpad by accident.
I would like to switch off the touchpad, so it can only use a mouse.

I managed to do it with an older version of PCLOS e17, but I recently moved up to the latest PCLOS e17 light. The touchpad is working again, and I canĀ“t  find or remember how to disable it.

Any help please??

Look for the package TouchpadToggle in Synaptic  ;)
