Can you connect it via usb? If so, can't you mount it as a usb mass storage device?
All that is is good. PCLinuxOS is.

I connect it via a USB cable but nothing happen, it's not even recognize so i don't know what to do with it anymore. Bitpim is not configured to see the kind of phone that i'm using. I need to transfer the pictures, i can transfer the contacts with BlueTooth but not the pictures.

If you can think about any ways to do it please let me know.

Thanks :)

when a phone is this unfriendly the most simple thing you can do is send the images as a mms to your own mail from that cellphone

Assuming your phone plan provider is where you got the phone, take it to them with flash drive in hand and have them transfer the photos.
Maybe you are due for a free upgrade to a phone with an SD card and they can just transfer your current phone files to the new phone. If you get an Android phone you can root it and have hours of additional level of fun.

i had a sonyericsson phone, old one, there was no way to take the content out of the cellphone, the app available was designed to put content in the phone, not to take it out

i did what i described, send the files to my own mail via mms

I've been trying to send my pictures to my mailbox since i have this phone, been with the tech support many times to do it, still get the same T1 error all the time so i decided to let go about it. I'm going to get another one with a card that i can remove and put into my laptop, it will be the easiest way but i'll lose the pictures that i have in my actual phone anyway.

Thanks for your help :)

Take the old phone with you when you go for the new phone. Tell them you aren't getting the new phone unless they can transfer everything off the old one. I'll be they figure out a way. My wife and I always use the same type of phones (Sprint is our provider) and even when we didn't have a data plan, when she loses her phone or I break mine, we get a new phone and have the tech at the store swap everything from one to the new one.

btw, If I may suggest, try to get a phone with an unlimited plan. Until I got one I had no idea what I was missing. I use the h_ll out of it.

Did you install bitpim ?

Connect your phone via the cable

Once installed use a terminal - type bitpim and press enter
Click on view at the top once bitpim comes up and click view filesystem

At the top click edit and click detect phone
