saving updates to remaster

Hi guys,
how can i save the synaptic updates or changes in apps that i make when i run the live usb ???
i want to keep the system on my live USB updated and save the changes on the USB...is that possible?
Hope that one day ill be able to help as much as I'm being helped now...

Using the persistence boot option allows changes to be stored.

It depends on what you used to create the liveUSB.
Some will not facilitate the option and others will.

Essentially 'persistence' is the saving of changes you make, to a particular location, where they can be read by the booting USB device, and have those changes incorporated during the boot.
