Thanks. I have just got the wireless card installed and running. I will install some more software and then make a Ghost Backup.
I will leave the problem for the time being, getting very far behind with work.
Instead of (or, in addition to) Ghost, you should consider
mylivcd. This will not only give you a backup from which to re-install from, should you need it, but also a Live environment identical to your install you can run anywhere, as well as the option of installing your customization to any other additional or new devices...
