Crazy WM and DE

I just had a crazy though,
as we know Linux is just like LEGO, we have the bricks and we can make it as we want it.
I just though,
is it possible to have KWIN (Window Manager) with XFCE (Desktop Environment)?
is it possible to have XFWM (Window Manager) with KDE (Desktop ENvironment)?

I was just wondering...;-)
