Latest X11 update crashed my desktop running 4.6 today.Downloading 4.8 to give it a try and hoping it works with my old Acer desktop.....
I'm a basic user but hope I can manage!

Sproggy... great job on Phinx. I just installed it. Really like the appearance. I do have a couple questions, for some reason Thunar won't launch from the Applications menu but it does from the panel so how can I fix it? And the PCM and Master levels zero out across boots. How do I get them to "stick"?

Again, great job.  ;D

hate to ask but, do you have an unbranded version of the wall?  :)

edit: normally in xfce 4.8 one can right click on an icon/launcher in a panel, select properties the change them with the edit button. for some reason the edit button seems not to work.

okay this is odd... I installed gnome-games into Phinx and for some reason it draws generic no icons in Tali instead of the dice. never saw that before.

edit: okay, seems it doesn't draw the little smilie face in minesweeper either  :D
is there an icon set that comes with gnome that isn't in Phinx?

Sproggy, thank you!

Just what I've been looking for - you've done a great job and the graphics are fantastic, loved the hibernation screen ;).
I know phinx is an rc release but Very few issues so far (pulse audio is one but I think that is more a pulse/xfce issue than a sproggy/tex problem and is not a show stopper anyway.

Looking forward to the final iso, if I find any niggles that need ironing out I'll let you know but this runs so good already that I don't believe that this will be an issue.

Best regards

critter.

Just curious about the progress of Phinx. I happen to be very fond of XFCE and i'm "louking" forward to its release.  ;D

Can't wait for final release... looking into XFCE myself... updating from 2012.12 edition was... fun.  Any luck there's a Phoenix RC out there somewhere, Sproggy?

Thanks!

So, and " Back to the Future " didn't work I guess  ?
