Getting this error now .... system was fine using 2010 kde fully updated on a HP pavilion laptop (dv9700) with nvidia graphics with the nvidia driver installed and using the pae.bfs 2.6.38.4 kernel. I've tried setting up graphic card and choose to use the propietary driver still a no go. The only thing I have changed was to add the noop elevator to the kernel line. Any ideas???
