Hi All,
First, I have to say our new FM 2011.4 is the best yet! ;D  It just keeps getting better.  Thanks for all the countless hours.  I am still seeding, but traffic is lower now.  A few minor questions:  1: I have noticed that upon leaving, (shut down, log out, reboot, etc.) the dialog box that follows is kind of clear and hard to read.
This only seems to happen after I have done my first update and from then on.  The original .ISO installs do not have that problem and have a nice dark gray background witch makes the text very easy to read. I found this happening to me and others on several different pcs and with the last 3 FM distros.  Is there a fix/work around?

NEW: I found I can Make the shutdown dialog easy to read again (after enabling effects) by changing a option in desktop themes. Action taken:
Configure Desktop> Workspace Appearance and Behavior> Workspace Appearance> Desktop Theme> Details (TAB)> Shutdown Dialog (at bottom of list).
I changed From: Glassified Shutdown Dialog  To: Oxygen Shutdown Dialog, Then clicked Apply.  Now has nice dark background and is easy to read...   ;D

2: I like to backup my system.once I get it tweaked to my taste.  If I backup my home folder including hidden files, is that all I would need to copy over a fresh
install to do a recovery?  I would prefer making a remaster type backup, but I'm thinking it is just to big? 13gb?  Or can it be done?  And if so, how?
3: Lastly, I really wish I had had the FM Karaoke resources when I was still in the band.  I love the variety and the quantity of songs you have given us.  Can you point me to your or a good/safe source?  I have looked, but am unsure about what I am looking at and see a lot of .mp3 stuff out there and am worried about copy rights.  The midi files are free of all that hassle right?  I would love to download more.  Also, I see the files are .kar.  Do they come as midi files with the lyrics already imbedded in them?  It looks like you are using kmid as the player, Right?  Can't wait to hook up some of my midi devices.  Thanks again for such a complete and polished OS.  PCLinuxOS Full Monty 2011.4.
Dan ;D
Great Job, Dan ;D

Hi -p & all
My #1. Logout showing up:  I have found this only to be a problem if EFFECTS are turned ON (Not that big of a deal).  Tested on A> a intel dual quad with amd radeon 6870 using suggested 11.3 & radeon hd 2000 & newer driver  B> a HP 3.2 laptop zd8000 with ATI Tech. M24 1P radeon mobility x600 ogl 1.4 mesa 7.5.2 & C> asus p4 2.4 nvidia Geforce 4 ogl 1.5.8 nvidia 96.43.18 (again, no big deal and I did try all the effect options, only one makes a difference is ENABLE box)
#2 Backup: thanks for the info. Have not tried it yet, but at least I now have a backup option.
#3 The Karaoke more songs package in the repository appears to be the same songs as that already installed in Full Monty (Also not a big deal)

The good far out weighs any minor things I might like to change/add.  Most users may never notice or care about.
Thanks for your time, Dan
