Which video card is better?
« on: May 02, 2011, 11:54:06 AM »
I presently have a Radeon 9800 pro in the big box. It works fine. It is the lowest I need to run Starcraft II. I got my hands on a recycled computer this weekend. It has a Nvidia Gforce 4600 in it. Is this comperable or less or better than my present Radeon?

My 3-4 year old Acer laptop has an Nvidia Gforce 6100.  PCLinuxOS runs quite snappy.  But 3D desktop really lags.  So, I choose not to run 3D effects.

I've never run a Radeon card before.  I'm sure others up here more experienced with the Radeon card can advise you.
Toonfully,

Mark
