Minimizing Windows?

I am using the latest version of PCLinuxOS. When I minimize a window it disappears. Where does it go? Or is that a bug with the latest Ver.

It means you removed a component of your taskbar. What desktop are you using, KDE, Gnome, LXDE, E-17, Openbox, etc...

Hi BasieBopp.

Right click in the area that you would expect to find the "minimized" programs (the main panel) and click on "Unlock Widgets".

Then right click again in the "panel" and hover over "Panel Options / click on "Add Widgets".

Scroll through the list until you see "Smooth Tasks". Double click on that.

Then, right click the "panel" again and go up to "Panel Options / click on "Lock Widgets".

You should now be able to see your minimized apps.
