Install PCLinuxOS Phoenix Edition on a i586 Solved

Is it possible to install PCLinuxOS Phoenix Edition on a laptop with an i586 processor? If so how? Also this laptop does not have a CD or DVD.

This computer will not boot from USB. However I have tried a Virtual CD as show here: http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,59127.0.html but it will not boot. I have been able to boot and install Debian using this method. Is there a 586 version available?

I have installed it on a 486 so I don't see why it wouldn't install on a 586, though I don't have one to try.

Also I've never tried it from a virtual cd.

I'm going the virtual cd route again, I'll let you know what happens.

After downloading the iso again, I got it to install without any problems.
