New Full Monty, no hardware accelerated graphics with Live DVD

I s'pose this is a question for pinoc.

I downloaded the new Full Monty today. I booted the Live DVD, it works great except I can't get the accelerated graphics to work. I looked in PCC and it is showing my card correctly as Geforce FX series. I had an earlier version of Full Monty on this DVDRW and with that version the graphics worked. I reformatted the DVDRW and put the new version on it so I don't have that anymore.

The card is a Geforce FX 5200 128MB.

Hi gandy,

compared to 2011.01, FullMonty 2011.04 has a newer Nvidia driver which seems to have some regressions wrt some Nvidia cards. An updated Nvidia driver should be available soon in Synaptic which may resolve your issue.

Thanks pinoc. I guess I'll wait for the next release and see if the new driver works.

no need to wait for the next FM, just install it and keep it uptodate, once the new Nvidia driver is available in Synaptic you can update it and see if that will help, most likely it will.
