...like on YouTube - - I hear sounds while using the desktop but not while surfing the internet?
I'm using:
PCLinuxOS Gnome 2010.10, Build: 2010/10/26
Kernel: 2.6.33.7-pclos6.bfs
Gnome: 2.32.1
Firefox:3.6.13
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13)
Gecko/20101209
PCLinuxOS/1.9.2.13-1pclos2010 (2010)
Opera v11.10 2092 i386
i686, 2.6.33.7-pclos6.bfs
SeaMonkey 2.0.11,
Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US;
rv:1.9.1.16) Gecko/20101209
PCLinuxOS/2.0.11-1pclos2010 SeaMonkey/2.0.11
Chromium v9.0.570.1 (64589)
(I used several different web browsers to find out if it's just one or more or all with the problem)
VMware Player version 3.1.4 build-385536.
The sound card is "connected" to the VM and, as I mentioned above, I do hear sounds through
the desktop, just not while browsing the internet!? I've turned the volumes ALL the way up on
everything (desktop, YouTube, etc) to no avail!?
Is there something I'm missing here?
Thanks,
QBall
