(Solved)Disable touchpad

Hello friends!
I can I disable the touchpad?
In another operating system with a combination of buttons I can disable the touchpad.
But I can turn off the screen with a combination of buttons on pclinuxos

You could try TouchpadToggle which is in the repos via Synaptic

my laptop works with this combination
FN + other button
I can I turn off my screen with the combination of FN + other button
But that combination does not work with the touchpad in pclinuxos

I have two laptops and one has the combo of Fn + F7 the other has Fn + F5

You can also turn off the touchpad when you are typing.

Add this command to run at when your desktop starts.

syndaemon -t -k -i 2 -d &
Omit the -t if you want to disable movement: with the -t only mouse clicks are disabled.

I do not understand  ???
Fn + F7  off screen works well
Fn + F10 to increase volume works well
Fn + F11 volume decreases works well
Fn + F5  brightness decreases works well
Fn + F6 Brightness  increases works well
Fn + F9  disable touchpad does not work

PCLinuxOS-kde4 let's me use all my FN (function keys) on my MSI laptop.

FN-F3 kills my touchpad on my laptop.

Back in time I used to use key-touch.  I don't even know if it still current...

Works great

But because I can not do with my combination of hardware buttons

Sorry, did not make that clear. syndaemon deactivates the touchpad when you start typing, and activates it again if the keyboard is not touched for -i seconds.

-k tells it to ignore modifier keys (control, shift, meta)

This solves the problem of accidentally hitting the touchpad while typing, without turning it on and off manually.
