problem with 3g dongle

hi evey one,today i got a pclinuxos disk and after running it from the disk i found itran great and no problem getting on the nt,so i installed it onto my hard drive but now i cant get it to conect to my 3g dongle? it has it as a mass storage device now and im lost as to what to do to resolve this? any help would be great thanks.

Can you tell us what version PCLinuxOS is on that disk to start with?

The dongle worked as expected when you run pclinuxos as a live cd and it doesnt work after you install?

Can you give us more info on the dongle?

what version of pclinuxos are you using? did you fully update after you install?
