« on: March 29, 2011, 01:30:07 PM »
Hi,

Can I make my wii see and access my media files on my PCLOS?

Any help would be great

I haven't checked out everything here, but it has the most current update I've found so far (March 25th, 2011 posting on front page, today):

Well, that's confusing!  Is it some kind of media server for Linux or something to run on the Wii?

Not that I really need either one, I get Netflix on the Wii over my wireless network (courtesy of the grand kids - they even had the wireless keyboard from the kitchen computer hooked up to the Wii while they were screwing around with it)..

Read a little bit from the site...

It installs on the Wii (through a "Homebrew Channel") and can access media over SMB (no indications that it is limited to Windows, so Samba looks good)
