Had it installed before and I didn't work. I thought the new one might but alas I get "Not compatible with Firefox five." when I try. Maybe I'll try Silverlight in Firefox in Wine again.

If you had it installed in Firefox 4.*, you can propably make it work in Firefox 5.0 by using the "Add-on Compatibility Reporter" extension. If you didn't, Firefox won't let you install it.

But some people have reported success following the instructions given here:  http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_an_add-on_to_change_its_compatibility, after they realized that they should delete the META-INF folder before re-zipping the .xpi archive.

Thanks.  As I said though my previous install in FF4 didn't work so I think I will put this on the back burner till the people running Moonlight get their .... together.

Yep, that often works when a version of an Addon doesn't work after a Firefox Update.

As said in the link Bald Brick posted: Editing an add-on to change its compatibility .
Simply download the Addon (.xpi), UnZip it, you'll find a number of files.
Find and Open with a text editor the "install.rdf" file.
-change the line:
<em:maxVersion>4.0</em:maxVersion> to
<em:maxVersion>5.0*</em:maxVersion>

Haven't tried as yet as I don't have a great need for viewing Silverlight Videos, but this is an proven method used while waiting for an Addon developer to "Catch up".

Works a lot of the time but ...
Not sure this is the case however with Moonlight, it being such a complex 'Addon'.
Sorry haven't tested and got a positive Yes, No answer -

Worth a go anyway, thanks for reminding us of this Bald Brick  ;)
