I'm working on it.  It worked good in the single pane browser, but tabs are giving me fits.  Each new tab wants to retain it's own set of numbers and not share with other tabs.  I'll get it eventually.

Full screen mode - I've always just used the window buttons for that.

Surfraw has potential, but I still can't get it to work.  Surfraw-1.07 from repo won't operate from terminal.  When I put in "surfraw -google" or any other command the line just disappears.  I have tried "surfraw-2.2 from outside and also allocated a browser in surfraw .conf and set default to graphical browser.  Upon writing "sr google" in terminal the browser page opens with this error "http://openurl%28http//www.google.com/".  Same happens with other elvis.  At least 2.2 opens a browser whereas 1.07 won't even do that.  Any ideas?

Regarding surfraw, it needs to be 'built/compiled' with a particular browser in mind - its defaults are:

graphical browser = NO
text browser= lynx

this needs to be changed to

graphicical browser = hammer (needs to be in users $PATH or installed by sproggy's rpm)
text browser = w3m

there area couple of other tweaks as documented intheir readme

aftar these are set you can have a .rc file to set other browser combination per user

Dang - finally got it.  Changed the line "defyn  SURFRAW_graphical_remote  yes"  to "no".  Now works.

I think both file:/// and http:// detection is working now from the entry box as well as the command line.
Try this and see if 'open with' works for you.  It works here for local .html files I've tested.

I had to install python-magic to get it to launch. Open with works now. Thanks for fixing that!

I am thinking of sending a suggestion to the Packaging dept. to request a package for ongoto-1.1pclos2011 and thus have it preserved for all time in the repos.  Just think of the advantages of having ongoto-1.1 downloaded to your computer at any time.  It could be used in conjunction with your favourite editor.  It would seamlessly integrate with your preferred IDE.  I would have to insist though that they do a start release at 1.1.  You know what the 1.0 releases can be like .
