We could use a status bar at the bottom to show hovered links and progress. Some pages are slow to load and you don't see anything happening.

Stop button? maybe.
Go button
Bookmarks
Config folder with bookmarks and .rcfile
Menu bar
    history
    preferences
    settings
    etc.
Make zoom persistent for those of us with tired old eyes. LOL

Neal has Tagged this as the Hammer now - its good

I think that a dotfile for configuration purposes and for passing arguments to WebKit, for setting external apps (like using wget for downloads (perhaps a nice zenity GUI for the download?) 

I would like the ability to hide the toolbar/stausbar etc (thats just a personal preference)  , and have keybindings (ala jumanji)

Bookmarks are handled in jumanji with a plain text file

This http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18945176/webbrowser-status_bar.py is an early edition of the pywebkitgtk browser which has a prgress bar - quite a nifty one.  Why he removed it I don't know, but it was deleted when tabs were added.  Why does that give me a sinking feeling :D.

Ah well, I'm having a go at it - help yourselves.

Good find.  This is single pane like Neal's.  It seems to work ok.  I only saw one error so far having to do with javascript icons?? 

Thanks for sharing this.  It's got some good stuff in it.   ;)

You can set the .py file as executable and run it from your /home. :)

this one is not comming to this thread kori ..just the main paige ..

also the only way to go to different web sites you need to do the whole addy http etc ..and think neal mentioned  this being a known..that the zoom is not being kept ..
