Mylivecd - Sony laptop
« on: March 24, 2011, 08:15:30 PM »
I posted previously about the livecd not working entirely with the forced upon me Sony laptop. One of the latest upgrades had kernel hardware apps in it so I thought that might solve my problem. I came upon the solution that I could create a live cd with the latest kernel and that might solve my laptop problem. Unfortunately, Tex says there is an issue with the latest kernel. http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,88499.0.html

I'm unsure as to the status of the mylivecd and squashfs testing situation. Does anyone know if this has been fixed? Thanks.

craesz,
When you see updates to mylivecd and squashfs come along, they will be working with the newer kernels. If you haven't seen such updates, then they are not ready yet. Simple.
