Crossover is not a freeware program. You have to buy it and after you do it does work,
but I can not say it will run every windows program. The more knowledgeable users
can supple that answer for you. Many users here run windows in virtual or dual boot.
Then there are the ones who only run linux.

Hi DMTarmey,

note that the installation, usage, and maintenance of software which is not available in Synaptic is not supported here. However, this is what you would do to get Crossover running:
- log into your Crossover account, download and save the CrossOver Linux Professional 10.0.0 (Generic Installer) in your Home directory.
- open a terminal and enter:
Code: [Select]
chmod u+x install-crossover-pro-10.0.0.bin; sh install-crossover-pro-10.0.0.bin and follow the instructions, crossover is then available in the PCmenu, couldn't be easier and it works fine for years.
You should also read their information
