cannot find weather plugin for xfce
« on: March 20, 2011, 06:50:22 PM »
Hey y'all,
I went looking for a weather app for xfce. I am new to this desktop as i am a long time KDE guy but, my laptop didn't care for KDE. I looked through the forums and noticed george had found an app. Well, long story short, i went looking for this plug in and it is not in the repositories.
I looked for task-xfce4-weather-plugin and every conceivable form of it, no luck.I did down load the source code but at the end of ./config i get the message that gtk 2.0 is not found.I looked in synaptic and it is installed so I am lost.I realize it may not seem like a big thing, but once i get my teeth into something i have to finish it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Simplify your search criteria. Search for only "weather." It's there ... I promise.  ;D  (It's one of my fav/must-have plug ins on Xfce).
