Hello
I feel this is a software issue and here is why. I had to reload winblows on her machine and i suggested she should try Linux also. Well I loaded the Linux and put it The Linux version of all the software she would use on the winblows side. The only thing I couldn't get is open office at the time. I even loaded Flock and Google chrome now here is the fun.
Now first I did restart the computer after all the updates and what not after which I try to use Firefox and it pop up and disappears quickly. I check on here to see if there was any similar issues there was, but it had to with librunner or something and also M4. here is the issue when i went to launch it from Command line
[kathy@localhost ~]$ firefox
Could not create gnome accelerators directory `/home/kathy/.gnome2/accels': Permission denied
[kathy@localhost ~]$
that was before i removed it so I went into root reloaded it and it works ,but still wont work on the other account.
now Firefox worked in the copy to ram even after i did the update since i got the latest iso only 47 updated were needed.
I must mention that navigator didn't work ,but flock and chrome did Oh on a side not I have successfully resize a vista partition to install the linux side I did use the Mib. How i must mention the vista was not updated at all so maybe one of the issues I keep hearing about resizing winblows maybe was included in their updates that went like this0"ME! ME! ME! Mine! Mine! one OS period!!!"
