PC logs out of session ??

sometimes when I am surfing with Chromium on my LXDE My PC shuts down to login when I right click in the browser .. this doesn't happen all the time .. but it has done so twice today..

anyone have a clue as to why ??

 PC is a mixed breed .. did fry a hard drive in it last year..went up in smoke  ;D ;D had 1.5Gb ram.. had to remove the 512 stick.. didn't want to boot with it installed ::) ::) aside from all the problems with it.. it runs real fast and easy.. temp usually stays around 40C ..104F

i heard that lxde was similar to kde3 but not to this degree  ::)   ;D

so temperature ok, good

the ram, verify it, a memtest wouldn't be bad

the config for chromium could be doing something wrong, delete it?

have you played with keyboard shortcuts?

no keyboard shortcuts setup .. ram is good .. tested it .. have nuked Chromium twice since it started to happen ..

just can't figure it.. usb mouse .. ??  will try a different usb socket + mouse.. ??

That sounds like some conflict in Chromium's right click menu with keyboard shortcuts. Can't figure what it might be, though. Chromium works fine here.

yep..works fine on my AA0 with a wireless mouse ..

Sure is an odd one. Usually when you get kicked to the login screen is due to a video driver memory conflict somewhere and it crashed.

starting to think its my  M/B when you mention that.. did change my Video card not long ago.. but it has done this on both cards.. now that I think about it .. M/B might have gotten damaged when the HD lit up .. like with the ram stick.. it works going by the BIOS test .. but cant boot from anything with it installed

the good side to all this.. is now with my new raise from you, I can save up for a new kit  ;D ;D

Never had a log-out or reboot in LXDE or KDE without my permission.

Had freezing definitely ran by my hardware. PCLOS is still rock-solid for me the noob. :)
