Thanks, as.
Not sure what I should do at this time.  I uninstalled printerdrake and it's dependencies, then reinstalled, but it only shows 8 dependencies.
Don't know what to do about cups.  Guess I would need to completely reinstall Zen, starting from scratch, which I certainly dread to do.
And Tex, I apologize for mentioning the simplicity of the Bunty setup.  I know it is a fully loaded os and shouldn't be compared to a mini.
I much prefer your Zen over any of the Bunty clones.  That is why I've spent so much time trying to get it set up.

Hi teddyred,
if it's me, I would start to enable local CUPS server, printerdrake -> configure CUPS -> remote CUPS server OFF
about the dependencies probably it's all OK, simply you have not uninstalled all dependencies.

Once your local cups server is enabled, go to add printer and configure your HP D110.

I do not think a complete reinstall is necessary ...

Let us know what is going on  ;)

Good morning, as....hope this day is a good one for 'ya!
I am now using PCLOS KDE4, which is installed on another partition.  I'll try reinstalling printerdrake on my default installation of Zen (which is my primary os) sometime this morning.  Much prefer it over anything else I've tried since 3.5 abandoned us.
I'll report back with what I've encountered in the printer setup.
Thanks again for your persistence in trying to resolve my issue!

Hallelujah, as!!
Now have ZenMini printing!
Returned to CUPS config and chose local server and disallowed remote server and the printer then showed up in PrinterDrake.  Set it as default and all is well.  What a trying exercise this has been.  Could never have done it without your help!
Thanks many times over!
I'll mark it as [solved].

I sure would be curious to know if anyone else has been able to setup a printer in Zen!

Well, late reply here, glad to hear you got it working! I guess it was due to it being a wireless printer? My printer install was a breeze in Zen, never did install printerdrake on either machine, hooked it up to the first box, installed cups and task-printing-hp and it fired right up, installed  cups only on the second machine and it found the printer on the network immediately and configured it automagically, whole thing took less than 5 minutes start-to-finish.
This aggression will not stand man.
