doubt with contribution procedure

Hi!

I'm not sure this is the right section to post this, please move the post if it's not. I was wondering, when you want a new package added to the repos and you have the skills to package it, do you still have to make a package request or can you just build it and send it to Texstar?

If you know how to package the app, do so. Then post a topic here, in Packagers, to ask for testers to have a look. Post links to the src.rpm and the rpm. Other packagers will have a look at it, and you can proceed with the next steps after.
