(SOLVED) KMyMoney icon on panel
« on: February 25, 2011, 08:24:52 PM »
I have a shortcut to KMyMoney on my lower tool panel. The KMyMoney icon displays.  When I launch the program, the program's icon  does not display on the task bar. It just gives a generic page icon.

How do I get the KMyMoney icon to display on the taskbar when the program is running?

How did you create the shortcut to KMyMoney on your lower tool panel? Did you simply create a symlink to the app? I can't seem to duplicate what you did. KMyMoney works as it should on my install. I just hope there was a way that when I click on the close button, it won't really close but reside on the System Tray until it could be right-clicked and Quit. Perhaps that'll be a feature in the future.

I unlocked widgets, selected the KyMoney icon from the menu, right clicked and selected, "Add to Panel."
It was then added to the panel and the icon is present.  when I click on it to launch, the icon on the system tray (where the program is running) is a generic icon.

I am unable to view your screenshot. I get your CPanel login. Anyway, that was the case for me but no generic icon on the System Tray and the app is on the taskbar per se.
