DVD Writer always "mounted"
« on: March 11, 2011, 09:57:13 PM »
Hi

Don't feel like rebooting.

My dvd writer is showing up in "df -h" as :

/dev/sr0              3.7G  3.7G     0 100% /media/DVDVIDEO

so when i place a say a PCLinuxOS disc in the DVD writer and the window pops up with choices, i choose to open file manager and get a completely incorrect directory other than the contents of the PCLinuxOS disc.

What "completely incorrect directory" do you get?

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?
