Modprobe doesn't work.
Followed by
this
(link added) tutorial to loaad USB module first I linked /sbin/modprobe to the script in the example.
It doesn't helped, then I linked it to /sbin/modprobe.pl and gave +x permissions.
How to reverse changes to normal state?

what tutorial?
why do you need to do that modprobe?
any specific hardware problem that modproble could fix?
more info on your setup, desktop and machine specs, kernel in use

have you tested virtualbox non ose? seems to be more simple to use than vmware

I like virtualbox, but with vmware it is easier to copy virtual machine.

I reinstalled module-init-tools and libmodprobe0 and it solved the problem.

Thanks for helping any way
In vmware I can just copy directory with virtual machine and that's all.
In virtual box before copy machine I need to strip all snapshots and then copy it with console command VBoxManage clonevdi [source] [dest].
