1) Start the PcLinuxOS Control Center. (it's the on task bar, the Circle icon with crossed tools)
2) Give root password if you are asked
3) On the left panel of the control center, at the bottom there is a setting section called "boot". Click on it.
4) Click on the icon that is next to the automatic login description. The settings you need are there.

The best way to save face is keep the bottom half shut.

There are 2 ways to set up auto-login in LXDE. PCC and GDM Settings.

Open lxdecc (LXDE Control Center) - on the panel it is the icon that is an lcd monitor with crossed tools - > click the System tab > click GDM Settings icon > give root password > click Security tab > click the box beside Enable Automatic Login. Close GDM Settings. Reboot.

There is also a shortcut to PCC in lxdecc.

Thanks Neal. Didn't know about the ability to do it from GDM settings.  :)

The OP is using KDE I believe. Since the other of his(?) 2 posts was asking about the auto logout time on kde. So only guessing.

Thanks Guys:). I am making them sometimes for educational reasons.

This video is more about KDE4 autologin BUT I am using it as well with LXDE under certain conditions.

When You have installed lets say KDE MiniMe iso and then installed task-lxde on top of it - You can use this method. If You have installed LXDE iso - use Neal's method.
