I just bought a new 64bit PASS account, and the dollar amount came up to 19.95. I thought it was $25. What happened, is that correct.

It might be semantics to some, but as I understand it, you made a donation to PCLinuxOS, and as a goodwill gesture, you were granted access to the PASS repository.

It used to be very important to stress the difference between purchase and donation  ;)

There is a straight up Donation button without PASS access, then 2 buttons to "purchase" donate to get PASS access. The 64bit "purchase/donation" was only $19.95.
OK-- A donation, BUT the amount changed, that was the point of the post. No way to increase amount to the $25, I was wondering why the lower amount.

The lower amount might encourage more people to get a PASS account. Then I can maybe send some $$$ to Neal for coffee and bacon of course when he gets home to help him get back on his feet.  ;)

Dear All, Hello Texstar,

I can understand your reason to limit the donation for  the 64 bits versions.
But :
- several persons need perhaps only 64 bits versions on their machines, till this version was ready
- several persons think : why not have the possibility to give more.
Sure, it's perhaps more interesting to receive donations of more fans, but are you sure it's a good idea ?
- sure you are not millionairs, but if WE, users, want to give more : why give you not the possibility to give more for this version ?
- i (and certainly others users) like to do things once : one donation of an amount chosen by me (as on 32 bits version)

It's not a claim, your reason do not seam logical :  We are  interested, attracted by your "creation". So please give us the opportunity to materialize our interest in your work.

You had say "Looks like we are in business! " : yes, it's for you a business AND it's Economy

Thank you all for this great work
