What dot matrix printers are supported by Linux?

the problem with these printers i mostly the parallel port, practically all of them uses it

not much pcs has those anymore

supposedly all epson, panasonic and similar old models work perfectly but the parallel port on recent kernels seems to misbehave

cups supports so many old printers but if parallel port doesn't cooperate...

since printing is done with the help of cups and cups is property of apple now parallel port has no sense anymore

right now a laser printer or a plotter is more practical from multiple point of views

I'm using an Okidata at work for printing invoices. Hopefully, I'll remember tomorrow and post the model.
