[SOLVED] Execution of 'chmod 644 /tmp/.../livecd.sqfs' failed

Suddenly; after 3 days of successfully using mylivecd to create iso backups as I configure this syste.....
Suddenly I get a filed attempt with the following results. Can someone help me find otu why and how to fix it? When I look in the tmp subfolderl everything is there EXCEPT the sqash! like it got sqashed ;-)

It probably did! Check you have at least twice the expected size of the sqfs file free on the partition you are building it in.

It was that old check box (PCC->BOOT) in the Configuration setup to clear /TMP on Boot.

Nothing there said that it accomplished this by creating /TMP as a Ramdisk. And it was only 500MB.......'

I unchecked that box and resaved the bootloader. Voila! Fixed.

That dialog really should say something about this.

WARNING: Checking this box moves /TMP to a Ramdisk.
               Be sure to have sufficient memory installed!
