proces audiocd protocol died unexpectedly

When I try to rip an audiocd with KAudioCreator, or open the "url" audiocd:/  in konqueror or dolphin, I get the following message:

proces audiocd protocol died unexpectedly

I am running an up-to-date installation of PCLinuxOS.

Any suggestions?

Start the application from a terminal and note the error message. Then report that here.
