It took me 3min to set everything up. It works like a charm in PCLinuxOS-scanning [also in pc], copying, printing, duplex... The only thing which I didn't try is faxing.

Use HP toolbox or the web browser:















To make it work choose HP OfficeJet 6500A e709n driver in PCC. That's it.

I must say that this is a very, very good office all-in-one printer.

Edit: it needs hplip ver. 3.10.9 or higher ! Tried with my neighbors Win lappy [he wanted to test it before buying it] and we needed 20min+lots of SW bloat.

I looked it up looks like $128.00 and up depending where you buy
Ink cartridges look to be around $30.00 for the combo pack again depending where you buy.

I think that I am gonna have to get one.
