using vuze my bitttorent client does not find as much as when i use it on my windows  computer
if vuze is looking on the net shouldnt both systems find the same torrents. the returns i get with the linux computer are 5-10% of what i get with the windows system. why would this be?

Have you got the same options and/or search engines optimized the same way as your Windows version?

Hi villa22 - I don't use Vuse therefore can't point you to any specific options but some Torrent apps have plugins which allow more torrent search engines to retrieve the data.

See if there is an an Options or Preference listing in the main menu to see if you can set anything there.

yes thats it, the widows machine has 4 web sites to search the linux machine only has 1 of the four i didnt put these in, would there be a reason why they where left out on the linux version? how do i add them.

As for why they'e done it this way for the Linux version is anyone's guess.  It's not unusual for a Linux version to be different from a Windows/Mac version, be it having more options or less etc.

There are other torrent apps in the repositories so you do have other choices.
