Only problem I've found is that "lomanager" doesn't work. I did an "apt-get install --reinstall lomanager" and it updated the version to 0.2-6pclos2011 from 0.2-4pclos2011, and then it worked fine.

it looks really good, everything seems to work fine.

My only (fixable) issue is when updating for the first time (using the ibiblio repo) I get a dependency issue:

Hi,
       Tried it live from USB tonight.

Mixer had no sliders pre-selected ......  had to bring in a few ......  SB Live! Soundblaster card (old)

It did not want to play an audio CD ....  said something was missing.

I found the fonts not to be to my liking - just a personal thing and did not spend time deciding if they were just too small for me or if there was something else.

I did nothing else with it ......  only reason I ran it tonight was to check out the live USB  and I used your ISO.

I hope to give it a better trialling when I have more time and energy.

Oh yes .......  on log in I did not see the name/password info on the screen ....  maybe it was, but I didn't see it.

it's a wireless card issue ... what card do you have ... and are you using ndiswrapper for it???


I will find out. I know off the top of my head it's a realtek like my wired one.

The card is a Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter, it's not a card actually it's integrated I'm just use to the old way of talking about things :)

I have been trying to download the Beta 2 Iso using Sproggy's link at the start of this thread.

But I keep getting a DropBox 404 error.

Has the Iso been withdrawn?
