<Fixed>Leave a note widget
« on: February 02, 2011, 03:04:30 AM »
Hi to all,
I placed some information in a 'leave a note' widget but on reboot the was no data in the widget!!
How do I fix the data to survive through reboots?
Many thanks for your thoughts.

I've never used the "Leave a note widget" so I tried it and set the "Use KNotes" option - I then created 3 notes and restarted my system, I opened KNotes and the 3 notes were there.

In one of the KNote "notes" I also tried the alarm option and that worked too.

One of the KNote options is "Show icon in taskbar" which can then be selected to open different notes.

It may be easier to use the KNotes app (mine is in the Office section of my Menu)

+1 on menotu's suggestion. KNotes retains the notes and quietly sits in the taskbar. Additionally, you might also like to check XPads which is just as good.

If you set the alarm to popup the notes at a given day and time
You have to set knotes to auto start on boot or remember to start knotes
with every reboot.
