Install PCLinuxOS 2010.12 with Fedora 14
« on: January 31, 2011, 06:53:52 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I recently downloaded PCLinuxOS-KDE-2010.12 and copied it to a CD. I currently have Fedora 14 installed on a Dell Inspiron 530S Desktop. Are there any issues that I should know about before proceeding with this installation? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Following is fdisk -l -u=cylinders:
Code: [Select]
Disk /dev/sda: 320.1 GB, 320072933376 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 38913 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes

Being as you have the entirety of your hard drive devoted to a Fedora LVM, where were you planning to install PCLinuxOS?

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?
