'GLIBC_2.11' not found
« on: January 31, 2011, 06:30:29 PM »
I have a lifetime version of Vuescan and swear by it to operate my scanners etc. and it has always worked up to now.  But there is a problem with the latest version (9.0.16), I've installed it in the usual way but when I try to run it I get an error message:-

vuescan: /lib/i686/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.11' not found (required by vuescan)

I know it's not an "official" pclos program, but can anyone help?

(Fortunately I backed up the old working version first.)

Thanks.  I guess I'll have to wait.  The old version works fine anyway.
