can you explain your problem a bit more clearly. Exactly what do you do to get that sound and are you getting any errors when it doesnt come through. You can not over explain your problem and the more detail you give with your problem, the easier the problem can be identified and the faster solutions will be proposed.

The only thing I know about it is to go to right click on the little speaker icon in the bottom right.
Then use " show mixer window"
Other than that...dunno

Might you be thinking about this one?

You already have a thread going concerning your sound issue
NOT a good idea to hijack someone else's thread

Just my 2 cents

Hmm... funny you should say that, Ramchu... it was a thread you started he was looking for.  Nothing wrong with finding a previously posted solution to a problem.  I don't think he was meaning to hijack anything, just learn from what was already posted, and that's a good thing.

<<SOLVED>> no internet sound

Sorry for the delay in getting back. Thanks for the replies even thou I didn’t give you much info. It seems to be working again at the moment.

The sound was turned up. I was getting the audio during boot up and I was getting audio from movies and music. It was only the internet that did not product audio. Recently I had installed Opera I removed and reinstalled. After I reinstalled Opera interned audio is working again. I don’t know, perhaps I tweaked a setting in Opera without realizing it.

If this happens to you again, start looking at Flash as the possible source of your problem.  (Try removing and reinstalling Flash via Synaptic.)

Also, if your browser has been open for a while (particularly with Flash content being displayed), you may run into memory issues that affect sound...try shutting down the browser, and re-starting...

Although, that appears to be less of an issue here, since the last update to Flash...

Now that i can update PLCOS via Synaptic again i will try and remove/reinstall flash and see what the results are.

What i have been doing is going into PCC and resting the sound config back to default ( even thou it was never changed). That seems to remedy the issue temporarily but i need to do it almost every day.
