FullMonty-DVD: help seeding / provide server space

Hey guys, here comes an update:

Linuxtracker went down about a week ago just when the FullMonty (despite of its size!) made it with 840 completed downloads into the top 3 most downloaded PCLinuxOS torrents after KDE (1st place) and Gnome (2nd)!!! Wow, thank you all soo much for seeding!

Linuxtracker is now back alive and to see their website you first have to delete the cookies in your browser, else you will only get the famous It works website. They have lost their entire user and torrent database, meaning if you were registered then you need to re-register and all old torrents are dead => I have setup a new torrent for the FullMonty 2011.01. Here is what you could do:
1) Delete your existing FullMonty torrent-file (NOT the FullMonty data!!!) as the old torrent-file won't work anymore. Do not change anything with the FullMonty data (directory with 3 files) already on your PC
2) download the new FullMonty torrent-file,
3) you do not need to re-download the FullMonty: open the new torrent with your torrent-application (ktorrent) and as download location on your PC select the parent-directory of the existing FullMonty directory on your PC. Then ktorrent will realize that the data is already downloaded in the FullMonty-directory on your PC, ktorrent will verify the existing data against the new torrent (takes 2 mins) and then start seeding.

Hope this works, if not let me know what was wrong and how it got fixed.

I was having problems with my stats for several weeks, I even wasn't registered as a seed for Full Monty, I wrote in the forum but I just got a response that basically mean "you didn't look hard enough" two times so I just refrained of posting about it.

I registered again and I'm beginning from 0 stats, currently I'm seeding again but I just can see one leacher.

thanks a lot for joining in again! So far there are only 3 seeders and I hope some others will follow to bump up the speed a bit for the new leechers who will have to get the new torrent-file.

Hi Neal,
when you replaced the old with the new torrent-file on your PC did you point ktorrent to the correct location on your PC such that it verified your existing data? Well, I guess so cause otherwise you would be downloading now... 
Normally you should now be seeding, regardless of leechers being present or not. Strange torrent-world...

I'm using Transmission. I deleted the old torrent file, downloaded the new one, opened it, and the FM data was confirmed immediately - well it took a couple minutes. Idle has shown since then. I restarted transmission to see if there would be any change. Still idle.

A better ratio, I hope for more seeders, the download is big.
