Why no upgrades available in Synaptic recently?

BTW No offense but the forum search algorithm really isn't worth even a slab of imitation bacon.

Dunnow but now I searched with "updates" and show most recent-key and found all the threads about this issue.
I am satisfied by the Search option of the forum software.

Well like I said it could be just me. I've especially had problems with finding package and update requests but through google I usually find them. Google just seems to search in a more dummy proof fashion.. crucial if I am to function

It definitely needs to be used wisely by not being too precise but I tend to get along with it okay.

And as with any search function, using known switches can help a great deal.

I do tend to use the Message Age function and sort by "Most Recent Topics First"  (along with Relevance)

But...

By the way I still can make it without the so called updates. Anything running fine.
Look at my thread about updating after 3 months (LXDE).

No problems if you think. If you think there are less problems.
