I saw your update on identi.ca/pclinuxos (and started to look for it on the forum)
About how many packages are you talking (e.g. also the kde-ones etc?)
Are they generally seen difficult to package (I mean it maybe need someone with experience at packaging)?
I know that normally the updating is less difficult, and on creating new packages we often can look at other distro's how they fixed it there (first thing a packager should know I think
If there isn't soon coming a known packager, I'd like to try it, because that kind of packages do
interest me... (I read the package manuals several times, but have to do it effectively now
), AFTER my exams CS (Networking: today, Java: Monday morning, SQL: Wednesday - that's all).... Then normally I have some free time to dive in it....
But if a packager with more experience (and some time) comes here, it's probably better to choose him (he'll be faster and better in packaging, making less (beginner-) mistakes
So, I'll keep an eye on this thread
