C++ in Eclipse

I've installed Eclipse Helios, and I've installed the C/C++ "CDT" package -- Eclipse "Perspectives" even says the C++ stuff is there.

But when I click on New->Project, there are no options for C++ projects.  How do I configure Eclipse so I can get to the C++ version of the IDE?

Welcome to Forum, here is a wealth of information to be found, notice the SEARCH button, 3rd from left, in the main bar above. 

1.. Did yo install Eclipse via Synaptic?
2.. You have not said if you have done any searching here in Forum yet?

I seem to remember there was some time ago somebody else asking a similar question.
