I was looking around Synaptic and found a nice weather plug in for XFCE's Add New Items window. It's xfce4-weather-plugin, A weather plugin for the Xfce panel.
I installed and placed on my tool bar. Nice, quick and clean. Really nice!:)
I'm just passing info along to any and all who may be looking for a weather app on the XFCE desktop.
